Line drawing

The Reception/Year 1children drew a patterned vase of flowers in pencil and used a stick and permanent ink to go over it making the line bold and more interesting. They created a different line using pale oil pastels to draw a patterned wallpaper background. They painted their pictures with a bright, translucent watercolour paint which shows the ink line beneath and highlights the oil pastel line which resists the paint.
