Felt Tropical Bird

The Year 2 children drew imaginary tropical birds. They then used the wet felting technique to make a feather each. Once their design had felted they embellished them with embroidery and buttons.
They made a body and the bird was stitched on to a bright hessian background. An amazing days work.
