Christmas cards

The Key stage 2 children at Trythall School created these beautiful Christmas cards using stick and ink. We looked at many different possible compositions before sketching their own. They made a wax resist snowy background then drew their wild animal using stick and ink. The drawings were then washed with watercolour and cut out and stuck on along with trees etc. Lastly the children added more snow using poster paint to give the picture depth.
